RECON - a reconciliation solution using proven frameworks for the allocation of physical volumes across transmission networks. 

Used successfully in both the New Zealand electricity market and downstream gas market, RECON manages very large datasets to produce accurate and reliable reconciliation results for market participants and network operators. 

Like other M-co IT products, RECON is a scalable and easily adaptable application that can be customised for any specific market design characteristics.     

Some of its key design features to meet the bespoke requirements of the New Zealand markets are:

• Managing trading notices and other reference data for network injections/offtakes
• Scaling of data for missing ICP locations
• Developing and applying consumption profile shapes for non-half hour installations
• Applying pre-defined transmission network loss factors
• Calculating and allocating unaccounted for energy volumes
